Enemies Never Die

(On the death of Osma Bin Laden)

The Tower fell like cloud
The nation of billionaires, haunted
Now, Osama Bin another billionaire-son
Wrecked to chips to sink in ocean.

Bullets and bombs for which he boasted
Cheaply silenced by guns instead
A ghost saviour, discovered better
Living in *Abbotabad amid perpetual fear.

Roared to ruin, ruined like saline bay
As enemies ever lay in, although never die
A win or loss? Ask Osma, ask Obama, any boss
Only the coin is ready for another toss.

Hence lay Laden with heart-full of petals
Pity the helpless, pray for all haunted souls.

*Abbotabad - a place near the Military Academy in Pakistan where Bin Laden hid himself but was finally killed by the American Forces.
