A Suicide Pact ??

Karina and Kunal or KK
As they were referred to
By all their class mates
Had signed a suicide pact

They believed that life
For two sixteen year olds
Was not worth living with
All the parental interference

They carved their names
Deeply and carefully on
A rock before diving into
The sea- their death mission

But fate played its part
The plan did not fructify
A boat came in the way
And saved both of them

A true anti climax since
All their suicide notes to
Family and friends kept
Arriving after their rescue
