At times I smile within my heart
To cross over the other side of the ocean
Is my ceaseless dream
Broken as it seems I stride my main path
Often slipping onto the side paths
Diversions galore my steadfast aspiration in mind
I journey through lush colorful nature spread-outs each day
Slip onto desert sands to reach out for the oasis far beyond
With expectant hopes tomorrows will hush in
Big eyed pitter patter heart beats
The rising setting sun designs portraits only I behold
Sooth sailing my wondrous life so bright happy and content
