I have been a careful man
as taught by my parents.
I pushed pushed pushed
to perfection
in each and everything
and then the sticks of life
broke one by one.
I slowly learnt
sticks are not the solution,
it is the malleability,
pliability,
palliatives,
here there everywhere,
sops,
for as they say God is blind
to virtue and blemish.
Submission is the key.
Black swans rule the roost.
How perfect you try to be,
systems are far too complicated
for easy comprehension.
So to do one's best
and not look back
what shape it took.
Others will do their bit
in the eternal process.
