Terrorism - A senryu Series

in the pouring rain
many killer maniacs
lurk in the shadows

they plant home made bombs
in the markets targetting
death and destruction

ambulances whizz
past with their noisy sirens
carrying the injured
 
victims' families
crowd outside the hospitals
hoping for good news

much trauma ensues
each time a death is confirmed
loud wails can be heard

will the terrorists
ever realise their crimes
and leave us in peace?
