I had frozen that
delicious moment in time
When you told me
you would always be mine
Sadly it did not last
the ice melted away with time
I was left with just
my tears and ability to rhyme
Now as I look back
I often sit down and wonder
Why the Bible said
“What God has joined together
let no man put asunder!!"
