The Hero

by Kulbir Bhalla

The hero who
Was good at dancing,
The hero who
Was good at romancing,
Made millions smile
With his song and dance,
And with his looks and style,
Became the king of romance.

The hero who
Was good at cooing,
The hero who
Was good at wooing,
Turned into a sage
And said it's time to go,
So he left this stage,
So he left this show.

The hero who
Showed us how to live,
The hero who
Showed us how to give,
Will continue living
Per divine plans,
And will continue giving
Joy to his fans.

Dedicated to my hero Shammi Kapoor
