Cute as a dolphin,
Romping down the couches;
The couch’s clumsy Like a pond ...
A tide of smile Caressing sands of face,
Pink soles stroking the breast
How sweet the silky feet.
World’s so new and close
With ugly wrinkles,
Betel-dark teeth,
Grey hair and flexed flesh?
The baby kicks age,
Kicks ugliness into the net of bond
A divine goal to score.
I liked the smart kid;
They too enjoyed
His shining skin,
The brisk tinkling lips.
I found the two ugly balls
Rolling down midway;
The baby cried ‘granny..aunty..
Where ‘re you going?’
The mother warned
Which granny?
She’s at home;
It insisted” grandma!
The mom washed its hands,
Thought indeed
How stupid to love
Shabby strangers.
Then when I sit alone
I find the baby’s eyes
Teasing the golden eyes
As if they’re balls of dung.
