The guy lies so low
as nothing matters for him in this world.
It is actually hereditary.
His grandfather, a supplier of wood logs and boards
for housebuilding and furniture making
was so simple that he could not manage payments agains orders
and went bust.
But he was a Vaishnav
and used to do beautiful kirtans.
He took the job of a manager
in a rich relative's business
and managed to make a living.
Unfortunately he died young
due to lack of proper treatment.
His son came to the big city
and set up a family.
His son typically was like the grandfather
and was prone to lie low most of the time.
But Delhi is not for people who lie low.
You have to be brazen
and snatcher of opportunities.
Though the guy lied low,
he knew painstakingly,
this would not do.
So he learnt to pull strings,
learnt to pull legs,
and use expletives if required.
As are the men, so should be the culture.
It is heinous to be trampled over.
