Theme: Love

The Toughest Phase

If I throw stones at you, they do but hurl back to me.
Hurting you is like stabbing my heart with a knife,
But everyday I hurt you as much as you hurt me,
Your eyes bleed by the arrows of my cruel words,
Causing my heart ache as if life will end right now,
Both of us are trying to survive the storm somehow.
Drenched is your heart by the rains of my eyes,
Wrecked is my soul by the ocean of your lies.

You and me, a perfect mismatch, are two shores of a sea,
Which can never meet but has a sea of love between them,
I can feel the wind in your cheeks when I am around you,
Whenever your eyes stare at my lips, my heart leaps,
I crave to be touched by those big pink petals of your lips,
Which unites us every night in my ‘crazy about you’ dreams,
When your hands accidentally touch mine I get goose bumps
And I wish to hold them forever till the end of time.

I find you trying hard to control your hidden feelings
But they just escape through your transparent eyes
Which silently tell a thousand words of love to my eyes
You may never confess directly but I just know the truth
I am left with an endless wait for your heart’s confession,
For being with you is called ‘life’, being without you is ‘death’,
Oh! how I want to cry in your arms and be hugged by you
Coz this is but the toughest phase we are going through!
