Theme: Realization

Lost my Count of Time

Lost my count of time and the miles that travelled I
The lands I went avisiting and let my purse go dry
Mountain ranges huge, the seas our earth adorn.

Never managed alas to watch, with an open pair of eyes,
A step away from home, so nearby where it lies,
A tiny drop of dew — on a tiny ear of corn.

Comment Nice poem.
Long back I read two books of poems by Tagore - Gitanjali and Paperboat (??). I'm not sure about the title of the later.
And I loved that Paperboat best. Nostalgic.
