(In the afternoon of Oct 10, 2011 on the eastern sky of Houston, Texas there was lovely rainbow for over one hour. I happened to see a rainbow after a decade or so.)
Rainbow is ever a mystery,
a magical splendour in the sky -
a ladder for the child to climb and swing,
a romantic one for the poet
to be reminded of the colours of the spring,
a sensuous smile for a young thing
to explore what lies beneath this sparkle,
a symphony for a musician
where the notes of violin and piano,
clarinet, flute, viola and cello -
all different, but one melody they create,
so sweet and so soothing to each heart!
...
Is it not the same way -
five minds in man lie dormant deep within,
but if resonate in unison
will he not be on cloud nine ...!
