Theme: Love

Where Will I Go?

A sip of hot coffee gushes through my throat
In its smoke the nuances of your face float,
I try so hard to keep you out of my mind,
But to me, my dear, my fate is not so kind.
Everyday I find some signs that remind me of you
It’s like day after day a chapter gets written anew.
Now you are closing all means of keeping in touch
Regardless of knowing that I love you so much?
My heart only wants you and nobody else,
Can’t you hear my heart’s deafening wails?
At home there is no peace, sheer unrest,
Won’t you then fulfill my mind’s eternal quest?
Ever thought how lonely you are making me
Neither can I hear you, nor can I see,
Tell me, where will I go if you walk away?
In this world there are no hearts where I can stay!

Comment Thanks a lot Sir!! So kind of you!! But then well no one can do that apart from "the one" I love..

Comment A painful yearning for the lover. I wonder how nicely you always rhyme your poems. I feel like wiping your tears and even out the scars in your heart!
