Comfortably Numb

That afternoon while thinking about you
My finger got cut by the pair of scissors,
No doubt I have to pay for loving you
Every minute it’s a one sided suffering.
Strange is this world, stranger this life,
Where you love the girl who ditches you,
And ditch the girl who loves you,
I think it’s the greatest irony of life.
God knows how painful it is for me
To stay away from you like this.
The way you avoid me, kills me everyday,
I am comfortably numb, I have nothing to say!

Wish you were not deaf to my yells,
And did not turn blind to the love I give you,
Wish you could come to wipe away my tears
And relieve me from this excruciating pain.
My dreams are broken by your negligence,
My eyes filled with the clouds of despair,
Tears rolling down the cheeks every now and then,
I am lost in an unknown hell somehow somewhere.
Your silence is louder than whatever you tell,
You want me to suffer like this to death?
Do I really deserve to be ignored this way?
I am comfortably numb, I have nothing to say!

I think ,You have dipped into a deep agony,then wrote this poem.Am I right ?When Poetry is written after feeling of griefs & sorrows,It becames a milestone in the history of poems,. Our Merta's Meera wrote, "Mere to Giridhar Gopal dusaro na koi ".

Rupradha, Lord Krishna is addressed 'chalbaz' out of great love and devotion by His devotees. It is not a derogatory word as it appears. Love.

Rupradha, you are more lovelorn than Radha for Krishna. That 'chalbaz' left Radha for ever and ran off... Your grief is sharper than any knife to slit any heart.
