That LIC agent
With the
Beautiful
Writing…
Very genteel,
And good-looking.

Baba told me -
He had a happy
Family with a
Young wife,
And two children.

One night
A truck -
Struck them
While they were
Returning home
On their scooty.

That was the end
Of their story.
Or, was it?

No….their
Old parents
Are reliving
This sad story
Day in and
Day out of their
Dying life…
Thinking
Over and over
Again, asking
Each other:
Why me?

I sometimes
Wonder…
Does God
Have a heart,
Does He?
