Thought he won’t wish me Happy Birthday
But he did, calling me at midnight,
Thought he won’t meet me in this day
But he did, coming to my house.
Despite being ill he came to see me
And to wish me so that I don’t cry,
What else do I need in my Birthday?
He made me the happiest girl today!
The sweetness, the comfort, the easiness,
That used to be in our relation, came back.
He was as friendly as he used to be
I rediscovered the lost ‘him’ again.
Every little thing he remembers,
And he tries hard to make me happy,
What else do I need in my Birthday?
I am so delighted, oh what can I say!
I am reassured today that he cares,
I am ever grateful to God to rejuvenate me,
Everything is now just as good as it was,
By his love I am coming back to life! |
