Theme: Parting

Farewell

Can you see the restlessness of the lake
Inside my heart that was once placid?
Seems like it is struck by the tempest
Of your sudden unexpected farewell.
Even the moon is hiding under cloud’s veil
As it can’t see my sparkling eyes in disgrace,
Even the trees are bending their heads in gloom
As they can overhear the screech of my soul.

Even the sky is howling in the blues,
As it can feel the anguish burning me within.
Even the night is turbulently tumultuous
As it can sense the gales whacking my heart.
Can’t you see it when everyone else can?
How invariably I love you ignoring all rules;
Don’t you know your farewell will kill me
Every single day for the rest of my life?

Comment Yes, Rupradha the parting is painful, and the whole nature is with you to share you longing. Well composed.
