Theme: Love

Mind Reader

I was so surprised at our last meeting,
Never thought you’ll become a telepathist,
You were fulfilling my wishes at the exact time
When my mind wished all those in a love’s mist.

Yes, ‘a lot can happen over coffee’,
Aptly said by Café Coffee Day,
The treat you gave us was awesome,
Delicious chocochino, I must say.

Only we could interpret each other’s words,
It was splendid, was just so much fun,
You knew what I meant, I knew what you implied,
No other person could understand none.

You knew why I told her ‘it’s all yours’
When she was confused where to sit,
And my God you read my mind so well,
I was bowled over, yet so loving it.

Had no control on the blush of my cheeks,
I was so in raptures by you hitting on me,
Still I couldn’t get a scope to tell you,
How my heart was dancing in glee.

She was so  pretty, charming as usual,
I could sacrifice simply anything for her,
Even if it’s the most important thing for me,
I could still give it to her as she is my sister.

But I knew there’s something between us too,
That’s so special with an ‘out of the world’ feeling,
And holy cow, you were such a mind reader for me,
That all my past wounds which you gave were healing.

I was loving the chemistry between you and me,
How we stealthily looked at each other at times,
Even our silence spoke more than words,
Our bonding is so eloquent, precisely sublime!

May in all our next meetings we remain like this,
Parted yet intimately bound every time we meet,
And may it always feel like it is the first time;
May our bonding remain ever fresh and sweet!
