Saraswati Puja

Saraswati.jpg

I remember last time you were there with me,
At Saraswati Puja, like every year,
But this year I felt so lost and empty,
As you are miles away from me somewhere.

Life is so incomplete without you,
Can’t hide my tears, can’t enjoy a bit,
Can’t find peace, can’t be happy,
I keep suffering from love’s deficit!

And you over there remain so cool,
Showing you don’t bother, you don’t care,
You have no time for us, do you?
You’re busy with a thousand affairs.

I wish I could believe you don’t love me,
I wish I could forget each and everything,
But you exist in every ounce of me,
You flow through every part of my being.

So without you, Saraswati Puja is no fun,
Everything in my world appears blue
In the chanting of the prayers, in the worship,
In the mantras, in the flowers, I can only see you!

Comment Ruoradha, total devotion for your love, divert your attention to Maa Saraswati, the 'hidden river' will soon ooze out in his heart to flood you! Good composition, dear friend.
