Theme: Challenge

Just the Eye

When the ace archer
looked into the water below,
his Lord asked, ‘What do you see?’
‘The fish.’
‘No, no! nothing else, see just the eye,’
was His advice.

To win you, I weigh not, like-wise
the grains of your smiles
nor measure their wavelengths in miles,
but with both the hands
I gather just the gold dust they leave behind
on the avenue of my mind…

Comment Please guess who is ahead of me, and who is showing me the path by shedding gold dusts!! Thank you for quoting the last stanza, I get ecstastic, dear friend.
