Giggling you go on flowing
Like a murmuring stream
Standing on the shore we only look on
Fantasizing so many things in our minds.
You happily whisper into each other’s ears
Your eyes and faces sparkle in fun
When you walk along the way
Anklets jingle music on your feet.
You bind each other in embrace
With your arms like lovely creepers
Your eyes talk secret words
And your laughter is full of meanings.
When alone you string garlands
And do your hair with care before a mirror
In your mind what secret game you play
We wonder what you brood in your mind
And how you pass your time!
We are big and are like storms
We wander to and fro in our mood
Squandering our heart
We rush in boundless skies
You are like lightning
When passing you smile at us
And pierce our hearts
Leaving a trail of fire
You fly away like a fairy
Never allowing us to catch.
When making our bodies the creator was careless
He didn’t give our lips and eyes the power to talk
We do not know any spell
Ourselves we cannot express.
You are there and we are here
In an auspicious moment
Won’t we ever come closer?
Forever you will glide on laughing
And we will keep on standing like this?
