Theme: Contrast

Life: A paradoxical Reality

When an egg is broken with an outside force
We extinguish a life
But, when an egg breaks from within
A life is created.

When a male and female join together,
We call them a couple,
When a father and mother with their kids
Live in an affectionate environment
We call them a family.

We expect a life without thorn,
But, king of flowers, has thorns around it
We love Rose; we hold it in our hand,
Knowing well that a thorn may pierce
Your beautiful fingers.
But, life with thorns, we scorn.

Two souls join to bear each one of us,
Through the labour of one soul,
But four souls carry one soul
Who departs from the mother earth.

Both times mantras are chanted
With difference in meaning and purpose.
One to bring forth the life into the soul
The other to merge the life into soil.
One to make the soul to create new energy
The other with a pray to rest the soul in peace.

What a contrast!
