An MBA in Marketing and MS in Tech Maangement (from Columbia University) by profession, he had earlier completed his Bachelors in Physics, and a few diplomas in software and information sciences. He has also studied French for a couple of years at the consulate in Calcutta. He has worked with reputed corporates in India and US, and is currently working for a Tier 1 publisher in New York and London.
What he likes most is doing something creative like painting, writing and animations. He is a freelance technology journalist for "The Telegraph" and has contributed many articles in its Know-how section. He also worked as a freelance French translators for French companies and agencies. On the painting front he was a student of the famous Academy of Fine Arts in Calcutta in his childhood years; and now the only brushes he spares are on dresses and fabrics. He has also actively worked with Rotract Club of Calcutta as Director (International Relations) for two terms and President for one term and worked in many social and developmental activities in Calcutta. His dream is to setup an animation studio and to build a home for the mentally retarded kids. His advice to the youth of today is to make every day count and to make everyone a productive member of the society. And last but not the least he tells every Indian to make a mark in the world around us.
