Born 1951, Helena Fernz is a Malaysian journalist and is the executive sub-editor of Business Times covering the small and medium scale industries sector. She also writes features on such conglomerates like the LVMH group as well as IT companies. She has been with Business Times for 24 years now (as of September 1st 2000).
She studied journalism at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism in 1976. While she was in Carbondale she was also a recipient of the Hearst Foundation Scholarship.
Her first love and a permanent one is writing articles as well as poems.
