Pankajam retired from BHEL as DM/Finance is a bilingual poet and novelist (writing in English and Malayalam), settled at Chennai, India. In addition to several poems, book reviews and articles published in national and international journals, she has contributed articles to anthologies/journals. She has authored thirty-eight books so far. Three books on literary criticism viz., Femininity Poetic Endeavours by Dr. VVB Rama Rao, History of Contemporary Indian English Poetry-An Appraisal by Prem Katoch and Socio-Cultural Transition in Modern Indian English Writing & Translation by R K Bhushan Sabharwal discuss her works in detail. A book of critical essays and research papers on her poem edited by Dr. S Bharathi titled “Poetic Oeuvre of K Pankajam” has also been published. She is the winner in the international poetry competition held in 2022 conducted by DBP, Malaysia and Motivational Strips. She is the recipient of many awards such as TSL Ruel International Award for Life Time Achievement 2022, Rock Pebbles National Literary Award 2019; Cochin Litfest Prize 2019 for the book ‘Bunch of Blooms’, International Essay competition award conducted by ISISAR, Calcutta in the World Thinkers and Writers Peace Meet 2019; Poiesis/Bharat Awards from Xpress Publications, Master of Creative Impulse Award from Philosophique Poetica and Grand Productions, Canada; Literary Excellence Award from Gujarat Sahitya Akademi and Motivational strips on the eve of India’s 74th, 75th and 76th Independence Day 2020, 2021 and 2022, Literary excellence Award for 2019-2020 from World Nations Writers Union, Kazakstan, Golden Badge certificate from Motivational Strips and Gujarat Sahitya Akademi for Literary excellence in May 2021, Order of Shakespeare Medal for global literary merit from Motivational Strips in 2021, Haven International’s Eclat Award 2021 for her book ‘A Hymn tot the Wind’, Guru Gopalakrishnan Kavitha Puraskaram 2022 for her Malayalam poetry collection ‘Verukal Thedi’ etc. She is the winner in the international poetry competition held jointly by Motivational Strips and DBS-Malaysia in 2022, She can be reached at kp_bhargavrag@yahoo.co.in.
