Chepuru Subbarao, from Hyderabad, is an MA (English Lang. & Lit.) (Andhra) and an LL B (Osmania). He retired as HoD of English. His published works are: Talks and Articles; The Marvel of Sankarabharanam; The Night Nectar Rained (a translation into English of the Telugu poetic work ‘Amritam Kurisina Ratri’ by Devarakonda Balagangadhara Tilak); and in Telugu – Sahitya Vyasalu & Sameekshalu; Shakespeare Sonnetlu (a translation of Shakespeare’s sonnets into Telugu); and Dakshina Africa lo Bharateeya Desabhaktudu (a translation of ‘Biography of MK Gandhi: An Indian Patriot in South Africa’ by Joseph J Doke).
