Vani Mahesh has a deep rooted interest in the Indian mythology and classics. She is a consultant writer for Amar Chitra Katha where she scripts stories from the Puranas. She has so far authored two comics and a novel published by Amar Chitra Katha. ('Tales of Creation From the Brahma Purana', A Kingdom for His Love, a novel based on Bhasa's play and now Saptrarshi - The Seven Supreme Sages.)
Vani reviews books for popular newspapers and magazines and has contributed stories for anthologies like Chicken Soup. She was a columnist for the newspaper DNA. Vani is a software engineer by profession and is the founder of EasyLib.com, the first online library in India, operating since 2001. She has also served as a guest professor of Computer Science in PESU, Bangalore.
