Originally from Moga, Punjab, MBBS from Patiala, worked for nine years at Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi before migrating to USA. Retired after 29 years of service at UT Medical School as professor in Pediatric Cardiology. Currently active as a volunteer to a charitable clinic.
