Writing is a pilgrimage, a spiritual experience and my refuge. My deepest feelings are in ink. It’s hard to speak them so my characters sometimes express them for me. The turn of a phrase, the subtleness of an idiom and nuances of meanings have fascinated me since childhood. My first non-fiction book was a dictionary. The love for creative pursuits naturally led me to writing. Penning stories, sometimes poems, my favourite authors, keeping a just-born blog alive and writing textbooks are my passions. I write about every Tom, Dick and Harry, their lives, successes and failures because I’m common too.
By profession, I am an author who writes textbooks for high school students, contribute content to publishing houses, review books written by other writers and pen stories and poems in Hindi and English between my writing projects to keep myself sane.
