Dr. Noor Fathima is currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of English, School of Engineering, Presidency University, Bengaluru, India. She completed her B.A and M.A from Madras University, India and M.Phil. from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. She has done her Ph.D. based on Contemporary Indian Women Writers like Anita Desai and Shashi Deshpande from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. She has the academic teaching experience of 17years, out of which she has worked in Gulf for over the period of 7 years as the Assistant Professor in English, Department of Humanities and Sciences at Salman Bin Abdul Aziz University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In affiliation with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, to her prestige she has become a member in editorial board of New Voices Publication, Aurangabad, and Maharashtra. She has presented several research papers in National and International Level of conferences and many papers got published to her credit. She has attended and chaired the session of conference meeting. She has taught many courses in Communication Skills, Business English, Linguistics, American Literature, Shakespeare, English literature and critical theories for both graduate and undergraduate students. Her research interest includes Contemporary Indian writing, gender studies, feminism and American Literature. She is actively involved in contributing the quality research works that exhibit the wide horizon of in-depth knowledge of Literature and cultures. |
