An educationist, a content writer, a motivator, an author, a poet, a mother of two, a classical dancer and a strong believer in the ability of the ‘generation next’. Dr. Kheya Baidya loves guiding the children in as many ways possible, teaching them to believe and have faith in themselves.
Dr. Kheya comes in with an experience of over ten years in teaching and building strong, confident and competitive minds. She holds a Ph.D in English Literature and is currently pursuing her career at Delhi Public School (DPS), Siliguri and teaches English to senior classes. She believes in learning and has recently pursued a course from Harvard University on Religious Literacy and Scriptures. She is the Literary Ambassador of ‘Tell Me Your Story’ and has inspired many young writers to hone their creativity.
Dr. Kheya attended Scottish Church College and has completed her Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from the “City of Joy”, Kolkata. She is the University topper in B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) and has been awarded distinction marks in M.A (Masters of English Literature).
She has been recognised with letter of appreciation from Ministry of Education for brilliance in guiding the students towards academic excellence. She has held talk shows in All India Radio. She has spent years teaching in Government College, Darjeeling and even served as Career Counsellor in Loreto College, Darjeeling. She is a story teller and believes that there is a story beneath every face and behind every smile, underneath every wrinkle and between silence and mirth. She loves writing, she aspires to jot down all the emotions that are oft thought of but left unuttered.
