 Mr. Vijay Kumar Rastogi is an Electrical Engineer with about 54 years of professional experience in the field of instrumentation.
After taking his BE (Elec Engg) Degree from NIT Jaipur, India in 1970, Mr. Rastogi was trained in the works of instrument manufacturers abroad. During this career, he has managed all aspects of instrumentation like technology development, manufacturing, marketing, systems engineering and installation & monitoring. He has finalized technology transfer Agreements with foreign companies. He has worked as Head of Organization involved in manufacturing and marketing of sophisticated products of instrumentation as an independent profit center.
During his career he has worked with several companies: Instrumentation Ltd Kota, KELTRON, UPTRON and Encardio-rite. Presently as the Country Head-India of GEODATA, Austria Mr. Rastogi is actively engaged promoting the cause of Instrumentation for civil constructions.
During his engineering studies in 1968, Mr. Rastogi came across Gita available in the family and was immediately attracted towards what Shri Krishna said. He started reading it regularly.
After his retirement from active service in 2017, he has been studying Gita more deeply. He found in it an ocean of never-ending knowledge; the more he studies it the deeper it is found. During his studies of interpretation of Gita from various sources, he found a lack of clarity and communication of its essence for everyone to understand and implement in one’s own life. So, he decided to write Gita, shloka by shloka in simple English himself. This is for his own understanding and implementation as well as sharing with other like-minded people. Mr. Rastogi is sharing it on this blog to have a platform for further discussions, understanding and implementation by everyone.
Each blog on Gita would discuss a few shlokas every Saturday. It is proposed to commence the series from Saturday 7 December, 2024. |
